Mineral Due Clearance Certificate (MDCC)

Introduction

Any individual, partnership firm, company can apply online for Mineral Due Clearance Certificate. The existing Lessee & Licensee can also apply online for MDCC in their console. Any new user can get oneself registered and then go ahead in applying for the same by uploading all the relevant documents. The validity of MDCC is 6 months for Lessee & Licensees. The status of the application is communicated to the applicant through Email & SMS. All the decision taken by the Government officer are shown in the public domain.

Workflow for Lessee

The applicant is required to fill up the online form and provide all the required information. The IT application software has a built in workflow as defined by the Government process where in it stepwise forwards the application to various approving authorities for verification and validation of the information provided. In case of Lessee, the application automatically gets forwarded to the Circle Mining offices for confirmation of any due clearance.

Once the circle office recommends, the authorized Section Officer sets a date for physical verification which is intimated to the Lessee via email /SMS. The Accounts Officer verifies all related financial reports before reaching the Director of Mines for final approval and issue of MDCC.

Workflow for Licensee

The applicant is required to fill up the form and provide all the required information in the i-3MS Portal. The IT Program, stepwise forwards the application to various approval authorities for verification and validation of the information provided. The Director of Mines receives the application and forwards it to the authorized Section Officer who sets a date for physical verification of all the submitted documents and records. On successful verification the Accounts Officer verifies the reports and forwards the application to the concerned DDM at Directorate of Mines before reaching the Director of Mines for final approval of issue of MDCC.
