• Objective of i3MS was have end to end tracking of Mineral Ore using IT tool on the amount Produced , Despatched and Consumed.

• The i3MS system was Conceptualized in March 2009, Detailed study conducted between March to May 2010, Development initiated in Sept 2010 and Piloted in one circle in April 2011.

• By Sep 2012 all circle had adopted the system except for the circles dealing with Coal, From Jun 2012 Coal bearing circles also started using the system with integration with e-Auction process.

• i3MS consists of 19 Major module and 76 sub modules.

• Four modules have transactions with other department / Ministries database, which either operates on push or pull of data from i3MS.

• With i3MS , all file movements for award of permit, trader license and various certificates, returns made online.

• 82,022 nos. of e-Permits granted since inception

• After Cabinet approval for eTransit Pass on dated 9th Dec 2011, 93,81,769 nos. of passes been generated.

• 3,029 nos. of Mineral due Clearance Certificate issued.

• 1,575 and 1,563 number of new License and renewal been granted online.

• 225 Weigh bridges for mines and 179 Weigh bridges for licensee has been approved.

• 35,987 returns been filed online.
